Diazepam, warfarin, and phenytoin can all be delayed by omeprazole. When Omeprazole is added to the treatment, it may be required to reduce the amount of warfarin or phenytoin. Omeprazole does not appear to interact with theophylline, propranolol, or antacids.
Overdosage (>1 gm) has been linked to hypertension, tiredness, diarrhea, and myopathy, among other minor adverse effects.
When taken at the authorized doses, vitamin E is safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Higher doses have not been proven.
In some patients, such as those using estrogens, it may increase the risk of thrombosis.
